Upcoming Events

Come visit us in front of Shaw's in the Springfield Plaza for our Annual Mother's Day Bake Sale and Basket Raffle! This event will be May 10th from 9-3pm. We will have yummy baked goods, all by donation, as well as our raffle baskets, thanks to wonderful local businesses! Our team is working hard to get the baskets for the raffle together by the first week in April, so that bidding can start early, before the event. We will be posting more information when this gets closer, as to how you can bid online. You are welcome to also bid at the event! If you are interested in helping our furry friends here at SHS by donating baked goods (pies, cakes, breads, cookies etc.) please reach out to Marissa at 802-885-2174 or by email spfldhumaneed@vermontel.net for more information and/or to get on the list! We hope to see you all there for this fun, annual event! All proceeds will go directly to helping the homeless animals in our care. Thank you to all our supporters!

Let's join cats on our mats on May 17 at 9:30am for this fundraiser to benefit the Springfield Vermont Humane Society! The gentle movement and breathwork 1-hour class with certified instructor Lisa Gleeson will be with kittens freely walking throughout the practice area PLUS we'll have 15 minutes after to meet, greet and snuggle adoptable kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. 🐾 Enjoy a playful class while friendly, curious, purring kittens roam around you. You get to smile and stretch while they get to socialize and meet potential adopters! **space is limited, register early** Class is for ages 16+ (children ages 12+ may be allowed with special permission and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.) FEE & REGISTRATION: To register for this event, send your name and a minimum donation of $30 to the Springfield humane society via their website or check. (Note that the class size is limited to give the kittens and each other space to move and is first come first served so checks may arrive later than online donations and affect your chances of claiming a spot.) Please indicate on the memo that your donation is for "KITTEN YOGA".
